Clocks ( Epsom & Ewell, UK)

"United by a passion for great songs, and taking influences from Oasis, Teenage Fanclub, The Kinks and The Zutons et al, Tom, Ed, Rich and John are four young men who over the last few years, have dedicated any spare personal time to honing their talents and mastering the art of penning a classic indie-pop gem. And boy, have they spawned a few.Their desire to escape their home town and become a force to be reckoned with - both in the recording studio and with their live show - Clocks are ready to unleash their universal chart-pop appeal on the UK and beyond.
Their debut album has been recorded and produced by Elliot James (Bloc Party, Fields and Little Man Tate) and will be released in 2008.
First single is this limited 7" single 'All I Can' which is backed by 'That Much Better' - a song Orange recently picked up on and made a video for to aid their online campaign.
'All I Can' is everything you might want from a pop song, and damn, these boys know a thing or two about a pop song. Both super upbeat and touching- it depicts a young mans plight to 'get the girl' - "you're dazzlingy pretty, sparkle in the city, I'm doing all I can".
To complement the bands debut album campaign, they have secured two of the best and most sought after artists to design their artwork Mr Pete Fowler and Mark James (SFA, Magic Numbers, Monsterism, Gruff Rhys) have put pen to paper (or actually paint to wood) and created 12 beautifully and individually cartooned Russian Dolls that will each, in turn, feature on single and album sleeves. Each doll represents a track on the album!

Clocks are:Tom Hewitt - Vocals/Guitar/Keys, Ed Hilliam - Vocals/Guitar, John Ricketts - Bass , Rich Farris - Drums

Paperlung ( London,UK)

Paperlung formed in late August 2005 when Sice (ex-Boo Radleys) met bass player Simon Gardiner in a bar at Victoria Station. While waiting for trains, they chatted about music and suchlike and decided there and then to form a new band. Simon roped in Ben Datlen - an old friend - to play guitar while Sice sought out Guillaume Jambel and brokered a loan deal with his band Transcargo. Eight weeks later they played their first gig. . .Sice, the former Boo Radleys lead singer has come out of retirement with the announcement of a forthcoming album – his first in nine years. The Boo Radleys split up in 1999 after a decade of mixed success. They found massive popularity during the height of Britpop with their '96 album 'Wake Up!' on the back of catchy summer hit 'Wake Up Boo!'After the band's critically and commercially panned final two albums 'C'mon Kids' and 'Kingsize' - Sice vowed to retire and never come back to the industry.

Jeremy Larson ( Springfield, USA)

Jeremy Larson began his musical endeavors as a classical music performance major and started to get a local following in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri with the circulation of his “Red and Blue” EP. He performed for the first time in 2003 to a packed ballroom of fans in Springfield and is now getting ready to release his first full length album entitled “Cold.” His songs are piano driven with inspiration taken from French impressionistic and electronic music, which blend together to create a sound unlike any sound out there today. The first single “The Thief” represents the incredible sound Jeremy Larson is able to create through the use of his piano. The song builds up to its climatic ending which captures the true essence and talent of Jeremy Larson.

K.O.L.O. ( New York & Paris)

March 2004 : John Lennon had already been dead for 24 years, Radiohead had completed its sixth album and not a single Fender Rhodes piano had been made for 30 years when Eric Kolo met Stephan Guex in Geneva. The first chords of the still-to-come band K.O.L.O. were born from their acute obssession for music. Eric would write the lyrics and sing with his caressing low voice. He and Stephan would weave a subtle universe tinted with melancholy and illuminated by the purity and the clarity of the melodies. Their compositions flow between light pop, nonchalant folk and explosive rock'n roll, showing at times an influence of artists and bands such as Thom Yorke, Elbow or Damien Rice.Eric Kolo began to try out their music in the bars of New York his second home. Then, in 2005 he decided to set himself up in Geneva and together with Stéphane assembled their band K.O.L.O : Laurent Nicolas on drums, Mathieu Karcher on lead guitar and Blaise Pitteloud on bass guitar, who joined the original duo. After a serie of live performances (La Maroquinerie, Paris, Fr ; Cully Jazz Festival...) and two EPs, the band has just finished recording their first album "Songs For A Sleepwalker" which has been mastered by Emily Lazar at the famous studio The Lodge (David Bowie) in New York city. Now K.O.L.O is burning inside to hit the road to share their music with the world and spread it to the universe and who knows...maybe the stars will hear it....
